KVKK information notice

This notice explains how your personal data is processed under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). The KVKK is Türkiye’s general data protection law; the rights it gives you are broadly similar to those under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller (veri sorumlusu)

The data controller is Pınar Yılmaz (pinaryilmaz.ai; “we” in this notice). For anything concerning your personal data, you can reach us at pinar@pinaryilmaz.ai.

2. Personal data we process

• Identity and contact: your name, email address and, if you share it, your phone number.
• Request details: your message and the service you are interested in.
• Security: technical data such as IP addresses and access logs.
• Usage data: statistical data such as the pages visited and device and browser information, evaluated in aggregate to improve the site.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We process your personal data to:

• answer your requests and questions, prepare quotes and provide our services,
• keep the site and our contact channels secure and prevent misuse,
• measure and improve how the site works,
• meet our legal obligations,

on the legal grounds in Article 5(2) of the KVKK: processing directly related to entering into or performing a contract (c), compliance with a legal obligation (ç), and our legitimate interests, provided they do not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (f). Sending the contact form does not depend on any consent.

4. Who we share personal data with

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be shared with the email, hosting and technical infrastructure providers we work with and, upon request, with public authorities legally entitled to it. As some of these providers may have servers abroad, your data may be transferred outside Türkiye; such transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.

5. How we collect it

Your personal data is collected electronically: through the contact form and email correspondence, and automatically while you use the site.

6. How long we keep it

Your personal data is kept for as long as necessary for the purpose it is processed for and for the periods required by applicable law; after that it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK; for example, you can find out whether your personal data is processed, request information about it, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. The full list of your rights is in Article 11 of the Law.

8. How to apply

You can send your requests by the methods set out in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller — for example, by writing to pinar@pinaryilmaz.ai from the email address we have on record for you. We respond within 30 days at the latest, free of charge; if the request involves an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
